Egg Fruit mango Chutney


  1. Egg fruit (Brinjal) – 1
  2. Mango small pieces – 3 pieces (if  not sour take only 5 pieces)
  3. Chilli Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  4. Big Onion – 1 Chopped
  5. Salt – To taste
  6. Curry leaves – 5 leaves
  7. Grated Coconut – 4 Table spoons
  8. Ginger – 1 small piece
  9. Roasted ground nuts – 1 Tablespoon


Wash and wipe the egg fruit.  Roast direct on fire without any vessel. Allow to cool down and remove the skin.

Smash all the ingredients together and at the end smash the egg fruit. Mix well. Splutter mustard seeds adding 1 tablespoon oil and add the chutney in and just season for 2 to 3 minutes remove frome fire and add the crushed ground nuts. 20190701_211501Can have as a touching for any meal.
