What’s your favorite time of day?
There’s something quietly magical about the early morning hours, and they’ve become my favorite part of the day. It’s those fleeting moments just before the sun breaks the horizon. The world is still, and the air feels untouched, almost like it’s holding its breath. It’s a time most people miss, but that’s precisely why I love it so much.
In that pre-dawn silence, there are no notifications buzzing, no emails demanding my attention. It’s just me and the quiet. My mind feels clear, and I find that ideas come easier and thoughts feel deeper. This is when I love to write, stretch, or simply sit with a hot cup of water. I feel a sense of ownership over the world; it hasn’t been claimed by the demands and chaos of the day yet.
The sky transforms into a beautiful gradient of navy and indigo, hinting at the day to come. I listen as the birds begin their soft chatter. The air is cool, crisp, and filled with a sense of promise. This time is mine. It’s honest, unfiltered, and real.
I know not everyone is a morning person—and that’s okay. But for me, rising early isn’t an obligation; it’s a choice. And the reward is a version of the world that most people never get to see. And for me, that’s something truly worth waking up for.
