My 2-Minute Curd Curry – The Easiest and Tastiest Lazy Day Recipe

When you’re feeling lazy but still craving something delicious, this curd curry will be your go-to. No cooking required, just mix, season, and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • Curd (Yogurt) – a bowl full (depending on how much curry you need)
  • Water – to adjust consistency
  • Salt – to taste
  • Shallots – 2–3, finely sliced (small onions work best!)
  • Curry Leaves – a handful
  • Dried Red Chilies – 1–2, broken into pieces
  • Optional: ½ tsp Red Chili Powder (for color)
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Oil – 2–3 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the curd base:
    • Take curd in a bowl and add a little water and salt.
    • Whisk it well until smooth and creamy – make sure it’s not too thick or runny.
  2. Make the tempering:
    • Heat oil in a pan.
    • Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
    • Throw in the sliced shallots and sauté until golden.
    • Add curry leaves and broken dried chilies, stirring quickly.
    • Turn off the heat, then add turmeric and chili powder (if using). Stir to combine.
  3. Mix the curry:
    • Pour the tempering into the curd mixture and stir everything together.
  4. Serve and enjoy:
    • Spoon this over your hot rice, and enjoy the easiest, tastiest curry!

Total Time: 2 minutes. No cooking, no fuss, just pure comfort!
