If I Had to Choose One…

If you were forced to wear one outfit over and over again, what would it be?

Imagine waking up one day and being told: ‘From now on, you’re allowed to wear only ONE outfit. Every single day.

Cue internal chaos.

Being told to wear the same outfit every single day sounds like a mild form of torture—especially for someone like me, who doesn’t just wear clothes—I rotate through them like a playlist. Morning outfit? Check. Evening refresh? Absolutely.

Clothes, for me, are more than just fabric. They’re little daily expressions of mood, weather, energy—and yes, sometimes just a spontaneous style impulse. So the thought of being stuck with just one outfit? My first reactions came in a rapid-fire trio: laugh, cry, panic.

But once the imaginary wardrobe protest settled down, I realized something surprising: I do have one piece that could actually rise to the challenge. My trusty blue churidar.

This outfit isn’t just a favorite—it’s practically a survival tool disguised as fashion. It’s that rare blend of comfort and style. Light and breathable for hot, sticky days. Easy to layer when the weather turns cool. And—monsoon miracle alert—it’s perfect for rainy season too.

The fabric dries quickly in any weather (yes, even without a washing machine), doesn’t crumple, doesn’t need ironing, and somehow always looks fresh and put-together. It’s the outfit version of having your life together—even if you’re racing through errands or caught in a surprise downpour.

And the fit? Just right. It hugs where it should, flows where it needs to, and most importantly—it feels good. I’ve worn it on lazy days at home, quick grocery runs, last-minute guest visits, casual hangouts, and even Zoom calls when I needed to look instantly polished with zero effort. Not once have I felt anything less than confident in it.

Would wearing the same thing on repeat get boring? Maybe. But when an outfit checks every box—comfort, function, ease, and a dash of elegance—it starts to feel less like a compromise and more like a secret superpower.

Still… let’s hope it never comes to that. Because honestly? I’m not ready to give up my twice-a-day wardrobe changes and spontaneous style sparks just yet.

But if I ever had to… my blue churidar’s got me covered. Literally.
