What is one thing you would change about yourself?
If I could change one thing about myself, it would be the habit of constantly putting everyday tasks ahead of my own growth.
I spent too long letting chores, endless routines, and responsibilities dictate the shape of my day. I wasn’t lacking motivation—I was just living a life where my schedule wasn’t built to support the person I wanted to become. My days were busy, but they lacked genuine meaning.
I had a moment of clarity: everything in my home was getting done, but I was stuck. I realized I was treating self-improvement like a leftover chore, not the priority it deserved to be.
My solution was simple: I reset my routine. I reorganized tasks so they wouldn’t consume all my time, breaking them down into small, manageable chunks for specific days. This created something precious: space.
Into that space, I intentionally placed time for reading, reflection, and quiet learning. These weren’t huge leaps, but gentle, consistent habits.
Now, the chores still get done, but I no longer feel buried. More importantly, I feel like I’m finally moving forward. By changing my tendency to prioritize tasks over myself, I gave my life balance, clarity, and direction.
