Kerala Banana – 2
Coconut Milk – 1 Cup
Cardamom – ¼ Teaspoon
Cumin seed powder – 2 pinches
Dry Ginger Powder – 1 pinch
Honey – 1 Teaspoon or according to taste
Get 2 big well ripened bananas, peel and slice into round pieces. Pull out a cooking pot and place on your stove with full flame after pouring a cup of water. Let it boil well until the water gets over. Stir occasionally and don’t let it get burned.
Once the water gets over banana slices would remain cooked, so simmer the stove and add coconut milk (should use only the thick 1st milk) stirring continuously. Don’t allow it to boil.
You could switch off the stove at this point, add the spices, mix well and add some sliced or powdered nuts if you like. When the dish reaches room temperature add honey and mix well without crushing the banana slices. Your yummy dish is ready to be served. Those who like a chilled dish could refrigerate it for some time and enjoy as and when you like. Serves one or two. If more members, increase the quantity of the ingredients. Have a great time.
