Finely chop the onions and saute them in a pan with a little oil. Add Curry leaves, chopped chilli, smashed garlic and ginger, saute for a minute and add turmeric powder, chilli powder and chicken masala (I used home made chicken masala). Saute for few minutes and add chicken and salt saute till oil shows up. then off the stove and keep aside.
Meantime take the boiled potatos (I boiled the potatos 2 hours before preparation and kept to cool), peel them and smash well until it becomes a smooth paste. Add little salt and mix well then make small balls with the potatos and make
a cup out of each ball then put some minced chicken and close all the sides and again make balls, after that just keep each ball in your palm press down slowly with the other hand and make into round shape as shown in picture.
Dip all the sides of the rounds in bread crumbs and keep (By the way I used multi grain bread crumbs, since I don’t use bred made of maida which is not healthy). Heat oil in a pan and put the prepared rounds in the pan and fry for 2 or 3 minutes on slow fire.
Be careful not to burn, when one side is fried turn the other side and fry till golden brown. Then remove from the stove and place in a plate. Your delicious Chicken potato chops are ready enjoy them with some tomato or any sauce of your choice. I don’t use any sauce, I love eating it alone. Vow this tastes so great, I didn’t know that I could make it so tasty and perfect.
