- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp meat masala (cinnamon 1 inch, cardamom 2, cloves 4, pepper 5, fennel seeds 1 tbsp — powdered)
For the Potato Layer
- 5 boiled potatoes, peeled & mashed
- Salt, to taste
For Coating & Frying
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp coconut oil or any cooking oil
Method
- Prepare the Chicken Filling
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent. Add curry leaves, green chilli, ginger and garlic; sauté for about a minute. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and meat masala; mix well. Add the minced chicken and salt, and sauté until well-combined and the oil begins to separate from the mixture. Set aside to cool. - Mash the Potatoes
Peel boiled potatoes and mash them smoothly in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly. - Shape the Chops
