Endless Wisdom

Daily writing prompt
What book could you read over and over again?

Ha! I like to answer this question. I don’t read one book but two, rather—the Bible and the Bhagavad Gita. Both of these texts have a depth that I find myself returning to over and over, and each time, I feel like they’re speaking to me in a new way. It’s as if the words have a living energy that shifts with me, growing alongside me as I navigate my own journey in life.

The Bible, with its multitude of stories and lessons, has been a guiding light for me for years. Each time I open it, there’s a verse or a story that resonates differently. One reading may speak to me about compassion, the next about faith or forgiveness—things that I might have overlooked before. It feels like a constant source of comfort and strength, offering timeless wisdom that never grows old.

The Bhagavad Gita, on the other hand, offers a different kind of depth. It’s a philosophical conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna, and every time I read it, I find myself looking at the world, my purpose, and my own challenges through a fresh lens. It’s a text that makes me reflect deeply on duty, on inner peace, and on the nature of the self. And what’s incredible is that the more I read it, the more it seems to unfold—layer after layer of insight. It’s not just a book to read, but one to live by.

What I love most about these books is that, rather than just giving answers, they invite questions. They push me to dig deeper, to seek understanding not just intellectually, but spiritually. Each time I read them, it feels like a conversation—one that never ends and always leads me to new truths. They’re not just books to me; they’re old friends that challenge, comfort, and guide me, always offering more when I need it most.
