Amid the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown, I embarked on a truly ambitious DIY project – painting the entirety of my house. Painting workers were unavailable in those days. With the confines of our homes becoming our sanctuaries, I saw an opportunity to revitalize our living space. Armed with paint cans, brushes, and an eagerness to transform our surroundings, my son and I delved into the intricate task of revamping the walls and ceilings of each room. Though a tough and heavy task which we were not used to doing before, the project quickly became a bonding experience as we navigated the nuances of color selection, meticulous taping, and the delicate art of achieving seamless brush strokes. Despite the initial chaos, the endeavor brought a sense of accomplishment and a refreshing change to our home, turning an ordinary lockdown day into a memorable journey of creativity and connection.
