When I think of the word “successful,” the first person that comes to my mind is Jesus Christ. Regardless of whether one views Him as God or God’s Son, His life and teachings exemplify a remarkable level of success. What makes Jesus a symbol of success is His unparalleled ability to master Himself, a feat that’s nothing short of extraordinary. He conquered His ego, selfishness, and all the inherent human vices, ascending to the highest self adorned with divine virtues.
Through His life and ultimate sacrifice, Jesus captured the hearts of countless people throughout history, spanning past, present, and future generations. His message resonates with believers and non-believers alike, leaving an indelible mark on humanity.
He lived a life of absolute fulfillment and contentment, embodying detachment from the material world, even though His Father, or our Father, owned everything within it. His sole purpose was to free everyone from the bondage of this world, imparting lessons of forgiveness, love for one’s enemies, and doing good to those who caused harm.
Having a place in others hearts and leaving good memories for them is the greatest success according to me.
